Clay Connections

Care home communities are where it all began for Good Life Making. It all started when a simple piece of clay was brought into a care home, and that small act sparked the idea of creative communities.

Since then, Good Life Making has been taking clay into care homes, offering a therapeutic and engaging way for residents to connect, create, and express themselves. These sessions have become a way of Crafting Memories in Care Homes, providing a space where residents can revisit the joy of creation and craft meaningful connections.

Clay is particularly beneficial for older adults, as it encourages fine motor skills, provides a calming and sensory experience, and fosters a sense of accomplishment and joy. Through these sessions, residents can tap into their creativity, enhance their well-being, and build connections with others in their home.
